I found this as part of a post I wrote in 2014.  I'm taking the "deal" part and reposting it to highlight the deal, without the tl;dr content.

LET'S MAKE A DEAL

I have one ground rule when I do any kind of deal involving credits.  I pay upon receipt.

I've had people who I called "friends" on here tell me I could trust them (I did) and they would hook me up later (they did not).  I've had friends who are red named tell me they can be trusted (they cannot).

So that said, unless I've worked with you several times already, it's a POD (Payable on Delivery) arrangement.  

The ones that say, "I get paid first," makes me wonder how they value themselves. 

High-Class Restaurants

• Will treat you with respect
• Will cater to your wants or needs
• Will bring you the best steak and best bottle as requested
• Will not collect a dime until the meal is over

Fast Food  

• Will ignore you and disrepect you
• Doesn't care about your wants or needs
• Will offer you a generic menu 
• Will ring you up and sometimes get the order wrong

So let me ask you:  Would you say you're more like a high-class restaurant or fast food?
