~ my random thoughts~ ~ Women who do too much are not always great at pausing or taking deep breaths. They are good, however, at learning new things. This year, they should learn to pause and take deep breaths. ~ There is nothing noble in being superior to someone else. The true nobiltiy is in being superior to your previous self. ~ One of the by-products of doing too much is taking for granted people and things that are precious to us. When we do this, we rob oursleves. ~ Sometimes life seems like we are trying to find the end of a ball of string. What we are looking for is elusive and we know it is there somewhere. We get so bound up in looking that we don't see it when it's right in front of us. Stop....Look....Listen. ~There are a lot more crazy people out there than our mothers told us there were. We don't need to participate in their craziness.... We can recognize craziness for what it is.....and move on. ~ It's good to be aware of some changes that we know we need to make in our lives, whether at home or at work. Changed are best made when we are award of the need, recognize the process necessary, and focus on one-step-at-a-time. Yet we need to accept that important changes come gradually. We only NOTICE them suddenly. ~ I have just one minute, Only sixty seconds in it, Forced upon me, can't refuse it, Didn't seek it, didn't choose it, But it's up t me to use it. I must suffer if I lose it, Give account if I abuse it.....Just a tiny little minute....But eternity is in it...... ~ How hard it is to escape from places! However carefully one goes, they hold you.....you leave little bits of yourself fluttering on the fences, little rags and shreds of your very life. ~ The Real Wonder Woman is....the woman who finds time for herself every day, and doesn't feel guilty. ~ At least once a week...sit down...and eat Quietly...either alone or with 'comfortable' people. See the food....Taste the food. And eat....just eat. Don't multitask. This may not be easy at first. Give it a good try this year. You'll be amazed by the results. ~ It is necessary for the Heart of the One who speaks to rest itself on the Heart of the friend who listens. ~ Every Woman who heals herself helps heal all the women who came before her and all the women who come after her. ~ Tight clothes may make you look slim, and loose clothes feel good. ~ We are a process, and the key to living that process is Learning. Mistakes are not proof that we are bad or dumb...they are Doors to new learning. The issue is not the mistake. The issue is not learning from it. Unfortunately, if we don't learn....we will just keep doing the same thing over and over. ~ The distance between being alone and loneliness is very short. In fact, it's inside us all the time. ~ If you play it 'Safe' in your life you've decided that you don't want to grow anymore. ~ We could give up trying to 'Fix' others and just reach out to them. When we reach out to another...we have the possibility of remembering that We are One...We are the Same. ~ Illusions are very tricky...they creep in when we are not looking...they keep themselves hidden until we are vulnerable and unaware...and then they spring into action with the ferocity of a caged lion. ~ Children can teach us how to open presents. Children can teach us excitement. Children can teach us awe. We have all been children. Peace.
