Q: It's been forcibly brought to my attention that I suck at arguing. I'm not nice, and I just suck at it. According to an online quiz I took with a grain of salt, I am a destructive arguer. My Day Today
Ok here has been my day lol its been a gr8 day so i decided to share it with all y'all :D First i had a lie in this morning but once 9 am got here i woz up and made a few moves of chess :D Then wen my kids dad got back with Ryan (my youngest) i went to my local garage and fixed Ryans bike lol (he needed the seat and handlebars putting higher as with the training wheels) then wen i got back i re coloured my hair (only the roots lmao :D ) then i went out for the aftanoon When i got back i picked my other son (6yr old Patrick) from school and took him down to the park to learn how to ride WITHOUT training wheels :D and while we woz out had a lovely dinna at the diner in the park :D Then we had a lovely evening watching a movie .... wow now lol i think just about covers it :D

Here is my rant and then Im done....Over the passed 6 months Ive had some eye opening and heart breaking experiences that have basically rocked my world and taught me a few things.....1-never fully trust anyone unless they are your spouse/soulmate because they are the ones that are ALWAYS there for you no matter what....2-take things at face value....3-follow your gut instincts they are rarely ever wrong....4-If you believe in something dont back down just because someone doesnt agree...5-Always be willing to talk and listen to others because you never know if things can be fixed and 6-dont believe everything your told, if you have doubts ASK! And on that note I have made changes in my life and Ive stopped letting ppl walk all over me, I dont bottle things up, if I have a problem I will voice it instead of letting it stew and fester like so many do. My Lil Angel

Chocolate Pound Cake 1 Stick butter 1 Stick margarine ½ cup of Crisco 5 eggs 3 Cups of Flour (Plain) 3 Cups of Sugar 1 ¼ of Milk ½ tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla ½ cup of cocoa Cream butter, margarine and Crisco, with sugar. Best Brownies 1 stick margarine or butter, melted 1 cup of sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup plain flour ( all purpose) 1/3 cup Hershey's cocoa 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/3 cup nuts (optional) 1/2 cup white chocolate chips 1/2 cup plain chocolate chips Set oven to 350. Spray or grease a 9 inch square pan. ( I use Pam and and 13 by 9 glass casserole dish.) Melt butter in microwave for 30 seconds. Blend butter, sugar, vanilla in large bowl. Add eggs using a wooden spoon, beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually blend into egg mixture. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread in greased pan or dish. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownie begins go to pull away from edges. ( good test it stick in a tooth pick and if it comes out clean its done.) Cool and slice in whatever size square you want.

I've finally realized that the only person I can change is myself. I need to accept other people for who they are. The Halo 3 Tournament
Well in case anyone didn't know, I went to a Halo 3 tournament this weekend. Just got back. It was sponsered by the National Guard so everyone had to deal with recruiters all day but thats not what this blogs about. It's about the tourny. The set up they had there was awesome. They had a military tent sent up with 4 360s on projector screens, and a sound system that made everyone even outside of the building deaf. It was a 4v4 tournament and my team was Me, Nick, Doug, and Brandon. Unfortunately we got 3rd out of the 15 teams that were playing and we lost the second place spot by 1 point.

It has been a very busy weekend. Shopping, going out to dinner, going over to a friends house for drinks, more running around today, laundry, cleaning and baking a batch of chocolate peanut-butter cups cookies today! Well lets see, house is sold, 75% of house is packed actually probably more than that. Final moving sale is set for the weekend b4 I move 4 more days of fun(yeah right!). Status Update
just want you all to know I am not ignoring you. Just been really busy. Classes are keeping me busy and strugling to keep up. Things have been really busy at the funeral home. Add to that I was really sick for a couple of days, still not 100% but close. on top of that I have been trying to make some repairs on my computer and haven't been having a lot of luck with that. Trying to install a new video card, just have gotten tired of my screen always blinking black. I currently have an nvida FX5200 with 256mb of memory, trying to update it with a XFX nvida FX6200 with 512mb of memory. Think I have it narrowed down to either a bad card or I need a new power supply, I hope I don't have to replace the power supply. Not sure my skills are up to that. So anyway that is why I haven't been around. and now I need to get back to my homework. When things slow down I will be back. I am not ignoring any of you on purpose, just not even time in the days or energy in my old body.

Finding Myself
Life is meant to be lived one day at a time. Lately I have been trying to be more, live faster, love harder than I should be. I happened to be out and about today and my cell phone lost reception for some odd reason. To all my friend's... I will be on here now and then but there has been a double death in my family so i will not be on as much as i have been... First was my nephew he was 25 years old and was killed last friday by an IED in Iraq... Second was my baby sister she was 43 years old and the mother of Bradly... She oded and died saturday morning... so you see it has not been a good week for me and i need time to take care of my family... I'm sorry for not letting you all know before and wish you all my best wishes and good well... Thank you all for being my friends and please pray for my family that they will come through this... again thank you all

Banana Bread
Banana Nut Bread 5 ripe bananas, well mashed 2 eggs 2 cups plain flour ¾ cup sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda ½ cup nuts (can be walnuts, pecans, brazil nuts) Cinnamon Preheat oven to 350. Grease a loaf pan. Mix the bananas and eggs together in a large bowl. In another bowl put flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. When the bananas and eggs are mixed up good together, I then sprinkle cinnamon in the mixture. I usually put in a enough till it looks right. (I know that’s not very helpful, but maybe about 4 or 5 shakes) You don’t want it to dark. Then I add the nuts. (I use pecans or whatever nuts I get from my folks.) I have used a mixture of nuts. Now add the remaining ingredients (the flour mixture). Mix well. Spoon in loaf pan and cook for one hour. Remove from pan and cool on baking rack. This is a recipe I got from the Fannie Farmer Cookbook and added some changes of my own.
